These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and the operator of CarAI Finder at caraifinder.com (“CarAI Finder,” “we,” “us”). They cover the website, app, APIs, advertising tools, and related services (the “Service”). By creating an account, clicking agree, or using the Service, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you use the Service for a company, you also confirm you have authority to bind that company.

1. The Service

CarAI Finder lets you photograph a vehicle, use AI to estimate year, make, model, and color, and look for similar cars listed for sale near a location you choose. Paid plans add more searches, Watch alerts, notes, history, company teams, and (for qualifying orgs) an advertising add-on.

We do not sell cars, broker deals, issue titles, finance vehicles, or inspect inventory. Listings come from third-party sites and from dealers who promote inventory on CarAI Finder. A match is not a guarantee the car is available, accurately described, or a good buy.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a contract. The Service is built for people in the United States. We may refuse, suspend, or close accounts that we reasonably believe violate these Terms or applicable law.

3. Accounts

You need an account for searches, history, Saved listings, Watch, billing, company tools, and ads. Keep your email, password, and passkeys confidential. You are responsible for activity on your account, except where we caused unauthorized access through our own error.

You can add Face ID, a passkey, or Windows Hello from Settings. Closing the account from Settings permanently deletes your searches, photos we store for you, saved cars, notes, passkeys, and sign-in, and stops paid billing we control. Company admins must handle teammates before closing the last admin seat.

We may revoke sessions, disable accounts, or limit quota when we detect abuse, leaked credentials, or unusually high volume (including Enterprise soft ceilings).

4. Your content

You keep whatever rights you have in photos, notes, Watch filters, dealer inventory, and other material you submit (“Your Content”). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, copy, process, display, and transmit Your Content as needed to run, secure, and improve the Service. That includes sending search photos to our AI provider so the car can be identified, storing listing snapshots, generating share previews you request, and showing dealer listings you publish.

You represent that you have the rights to upload Your Content, that it does not infringe others, and that people in a photo (if any) would reasonably expect this use. Photos of vehicles you do not own are fine when you take them in public or otherwise have a lawful right to photograph. Do not upload images you are not allowed to use. A Share link can show the photograph you snapped. Do not treat that as a guarantee the car stays anonymous.

CarAI Finder is for vehicles, not adult or sexual content. Do not upload, store, or Share pornography, sexually explicit images, or any sexual content involving a minor (anyone under 18). That includes photos where a vehicle is only a pretext for sexual material. We may remove Your Content, invalidate share links, disable the account, and keep records as needed to investigate and to comply with law. Sexual content involving minors is illegal. We treat reports of it as an emergency: we take the material down when we find it, we preserve what we must, and we report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children and to law enforcement where the law requires.

Private notes, Watch filters, and your email are not shown on public share pages. If you Share a search or listing, the photograph, identification we stored, location/radius line, and selected listing cards become reachable by anyone with the link until you stop sharing. Anyone can report a share page or listing.

5. AI identification

Identification is an estimate. Lighting, angle, aftermarket parts, similar models, and other limits can produce a wrong year, make, model, color, or trim. We may show confidence and let you pick among detected vehicles. You should confirm the details before you rely on them.

The Service is not a substitute for a VIN decode at the seller, a Carfax/AutoCheck report, a PPI, or a test drive. About this car and VIN facts pull public sources (including NHTSA, EPA FuelEconomy.gov, and Wikipedia). Those pages are not a diagnosis, crash-test claim for a specific VIN beyond what the source states, or an appraisal. Asking prices on listings are not our valuation of your car.

6. Listings and third-party sites

Organic listing results are gathered from public web sources. Promoted listings are submitted or imported by advertisers. Phone numbers, maps links, prices, mileage, photos, and “sold” badges can be stale or wrong. When you tap through, that site’s terms and privacy policy apply. We are not responsible for dealer conduct, title issues, fees, or the transaction.

Share links (/s/…) are public to anyone who has the URL. Crawlers may fetch a preview image. Share pages are marked so search engines should not index them, but forwarding, screenshots, and caches are outside our control. Stop sharing from the results sheet to invalidate a token. Do not share content you need to keep private.

Report a share page or listing photo from the product (Report). That creates an in-app alert for CarAI Finder operators so we can review the URL. We may remove the share link or listing without notice if it violates these Terms.

8. Watch and alerts

Watch (Enthusiast and up) re-checks nearby listings on a schedule and can create in-app alerts for new listings, material price drops, and listings that look sold. Browser push is optional. Alert delivery is best effort. We do not guarantee we will catch every listing change.

9. Plans, billing, and cancellation

Free includes a limited number of lifetime AI searches, as shown on Pricing. Personal, Enthusiast, Company, and Enterprise are paid subscriptions billed by Stripe in US dollars. Enthusiast, Company, and Enterprise may be billed monthly or yearly (yearly is priced as two months free versus twelve monthly payments). Personal is monthly only. Advertising is a separate add-on for Company and Enterprise admins.

By starting a paid plan you authorize Stripe to charge the payment method for the then-current price and any tax Stripe is configured to collect, until you cancel. Prices can change. We will not increase an already-paid period; a new price applies at renewal or when you change plans.

Cancel from Account using Manage billing, or close the account. Cancellation stops future renewals. We do not prorate or refund time already paid except where required by law or where Stripe issues a credit when you change plans. Failed payments may drop the account to Free. Promo codes, if any, have their own rules.

Company and Enterprise seats are pooled. Enterprise requires allowed company email domains (no free-mail providers). Invite codes, domain allowlists, and admin session revoke are part of the product as described in-app.

10. Advertising add-on

Org admins who subscribe to advertising may promote inventory, see aggregated demand, and send in-app messages to shoppers who appear in anonymized market views. Advertisers must:

Promote only vehicles they are authorized to sell, at truthful prices and availability.
Attest accuracy when the product asks (including imports).
Not bait-and-switch, scrape shopper identities, or demand SSNs, passwords, or off-platform payment that looks like fraud.
Not try to re-identify shoppers from demand insights, tokens, radius bands, or city labels.
Keep in-app messages professional. No harassment, spam, or unlawful discrimination.

Shopper-facing ads and chats stay inside CarAI Finder’s privacy rules: we do not give advertisers the shopper’s email, notes, account id, or exact coordinates. Demand cells with too few shoppers are omitted or coarsened. We can pause, cap, or cancel advertising for abuse, non-payment, or legal risk. Introductory ad pricing, listing caps, and daily message limits are as shown in the product at subscribe time.

11. Acceptable use

Do not:

Break the law, or use the Service to track a person in a way that is unlawful or harassing.
Upload, Share, or promote pornography, sexually explicit images, or sexual content involving anyone under 18. Zero tolerance. We remove it and we may report sexual content involving minors as described in Your content.
Use Share links, listing photos, dealer inventory photos, or in-app messages to host or distribute adult or illegal content.
Upload malware, or try to probe, scrape, or overload the Service beyond normal use (including automated bulk identification except as we provide).
Reverse engineer the Service except where the law allows.
Misrepresent listings, impersonate others, or interfere with billing, quotas, or share tokens.
Use identification, Watch, or demand tools as a credit, insurance, or employment decision about a person.

We may rate-limit by IP or account. Quota is not a service-level commitment. Abuse reports may include the reported URL, the reason you selected, optional details, your IP address, and your account if you are signed in.

12. Our intellectual property

The Service, including the CarAI Finder name, layout, software, and documentation, is owned by us or our licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership. You may not copy the product, clone the brand, or use our marks in a way that suggests sponsorship, except as needed for ordinary share previews.

Feedback you send can be used by us without obligation to pay you.

13. Copyright

If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, email hello@caraifinder.com with: (a) your contact details, (b) a description of the work, (c) the URL of the allegedly infringing material, (d) a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized, (e) a statement under penalty of perjury that the notice is accurate and you are the owner or authorized agent, and (f) your physical or electronic signature. Repeat infringers may lose their accounts.

14. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT IDENTIFICATION, LISTINGS, SOLD STATUS, PRICES, VEHICLE FACTS, WATCH ALERTS, OR DEMAND INSIGHTS ARE COMPLETE, CURRENT, OR ERROR-FREE. YOU USE THIRD-PARTY SITES AND DEALERS AT YOUR OWN RISK.

15. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CARAI FINDER AND ITS OPERATORS, CONTRACTORS, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR A BAD VEHICLE PURCHASE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE THREE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) FIFTY US DOLLARS ($50). SOME PLACES DO NOT ALLOW THESE LIMITS, IN WHICH CASE THEY APPLY TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED.

16. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify us against claims arising from Your Content, your listings or ads, your misuse of shopper tools, your vehicle transactions, or your violation of these Terms or the law, except to the extent caused by our willful misconduct.

17. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you violate these Terms, we must do so for law or security, or we shut down the product. After closure we delete account data as described in the Privacy Policy, except records we must keep (for example billing, abuse, or legal holds).

18. Changes

We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date will change. Material changes that require extra consent under law will be called out in the product or by email when we have one on file. Continued use after an update means you accept the new Terms. If you do not, close the account.

19. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and, where state law applies, the state in which the operator of caraifinder.com principally resides, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in that state (and US federal courts with jurisdiction there) are the exclusive venue, except that either side may seek injunctive relief in any court for misuse of the Service or intellectual property. If a section is unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement for the Service. They supersede prior terms. We may assign the agreement in connection with a sale or reorganization. You may not assign it without our consent. Failure to enforce a term is not a waiver.
